We offer the following low-cost unbiased advisory services in addition to complete Architectural services:

Sustainability Advice

• Energy-efficiency upgrade advice - simple and effective ways to improve your existing house or facility for minimal outlay
• Energy modelling - computer energy simulation of your existing house or plans with a view to suggest improvements
• Pre-purchase advice - meeting on site to advise of the design and construction issues so you can make informed decisions
• Review and assessment of building designs by others with regard to energy efficiency, sustainability, design and options
• Review of project home designs in order to improve energy-efficiency and sustainability within the constraints of what the developer will allow

Upgrade Advice

• Renovation advice - ideas tempered by budget
• Remodeling advice - interior design value for money
• Business premises upgrades - commercial and home offices
• Exterior design assessment and reporting for investment properties - resorts, commercial, or individual houses - with a view to improve return on investment.



The extent of our services can be as simple as a phone call, email, discussion at our office, your home or place of business to answer your questions; it can be a multi-faceted report coupled with a design to present to a committee; or anything in between.





Specialist Disability Design Advice

• New buildings and developments - design advice for NDIS Specialist Disability Accommodation
• Existing Premises upgrades - commercial and residential access and mobility design advice to Australian Standards




Fees and Terms

Services are charged at an hourly rates, with a one hour minimum (30 minute minimum if you come to our office) and then in 15 minute blocks. A normal residential advisory service typically takes 1 to 2 hours depending on your needs.

Travel within the Sunshine Coast Regional Council area and up to Gympie is not charged; further afield would be assessed on a case by case basis when you make an enquiry. Larger scopes of work can be quoted as a fixed fee for an agreed scope.
